Andreally, you need double the 18GB to even install the game in the first place. Because of how the PS3 does it, you need the space for the downloaded files, and then you need the space for those files to be installed. In the end, it'll only take the 18 Gigs, but to get it on the system, you need 36. The disc version only needs 8.
